Waiting for labor I guess

So I have a cervical polyp which was found at 7w pregnant. Any time it got irritated, I would bleed. I was bleeding heavily with small clots from 6-10w (honestly I thought I lost the baby so many times--I would wake up crying since I would bleed through my pad). At 10w I stopped bleeding. I haven't had an issue until the past couple weeks where I would have light spotting and brown discharge every couple days. I spoke with my midwife about it last week and she said that as I get closer to giving birth, I would likely irritate it more (as the baby pushes down on my cervix and it thins/dilates) and it could cause more spotting. I noticed the normal spotting yesterday and thought nothing of it. Well today, it is starting to get a bit heavier with a little red streaked throughout. I'm not having any labor pains so I'm just assuming I'm starting to dilate which is causing the polyp to be irritated. I'm currently 36+5, so I know labor isn't to far away. I'm just frustrated.
