Anyone else with GAD/Anixety disorders?

Question

I’m so anxious about miscarriages or something going wrong that I’m driving myself crazy. I have diagnosed Generalized Anxiety Disorder and I’m not medicated right now. This is my first pregnancy so I am terrified constantly. 
I had light pink spotting after sex, so now I’m not going to have sex again until after my first appointment (August 19th) so although I read its normal, it freaks me out. 
I’m hoping my doctor can talk with me enough so I can get some peace of mind. 
I’m trying to get out of my head. Anyone else? 😩😩😩

I was super crazy with my first pregnancy, not just miscarriage, still birth, sids... I was convinced my daughter had some sort of nervous system disorder after she was born. I googled and googled and googled...
When she was about 3-4 months old I realized how bad it had got and gone to my dr. for help.
I went on cipralex (lexapro) which had worked well in the past and is definitely helping now. I plan to stay on it through this pregnancy and afterwards. 
One thing I found kept my sanity through my pregnancy was my midwife! In Canada we can choose a midwife or ob, I loved my midwife!
She made me feel so much better about everything, I left every appointment feeling like everything was perfect and really held my hand through all my craziness. 
I think a good dr/midwife makes a world of difference through your pregnancy.

Be honest with your Doc & OB and get help in any way you need it. There are safe/r options to keep you feeling your best so that you can enjoy pregnancy and baby too!

Yes! Only thing that helps is being busy. If I'm alone I just worry and worry and am constantly googling and checking all my apps. I probably took 30 pregnancy tests day after day

Always had anxiety, but went off citalopram when I went off birth control. I've stopped before and it's been fine, but this time I got super depressed. Tried zoloft because its supposedly safer for pregnancy than citalopram. It didn't seem to work and I've been on escitalopram since. Talk with your doctor about getting on something. The stress has got to be worse than the medication.

I can relate to this so much right now. A complicated history of multiple losses has left me paranoid I think, and currently I'm taking test after test, and one minute I'm convinced we've lost it, another minute I'm convinced we're fine.... I've had cramping and light pink discharge and am 5 weeks - And I know that for a lot of people that is totally normal - but my not-totally-normal brain has me convinced that there's no way we can get lucky this time, and the anxiety is real!!!

It’s so bad. Sooooo so bad. And as much as Glow helps me with a lot, it also causes me a lot of anxiety, too, I’ve noticed. I google so much. And I’m a very large woman so I’m scared x2. It’s driving me crazy. Some days I convince myself there’s no baby in there and I got four false positives and I have a tumor or something. Hopefully as time goes on we’ll all start to feel better 💜
