Would you be upset?

I was looking thru my boyfriends pictures on his phone.. as he does it to mine all the time. We dont have anything to hide. As I was looking thru his phone there was pictures of him and another girl. The time frame of it was before we got together. Then I saw old pictures of them kissing and all their conversations.  This all was right before we got together. I asked and he just said they were friends. I didn't think friends kissed each other. I'm upset he still has those pictures when we are together.. would you be upset or am I overreacting?

Leave it. It’s not happening now and that’s all that matters. Just because he’s with you now doesn’t mean he has to “delete” his past. All relationships are important Regardless of how they end, positive or negative. You learn from them and move on. How would you feel if he deleted you from his life if you broke it off?

I would be upset. I wouldn’t want to see photos of my SO kissing anyone else. I personally don’t find it hard to delete old pictures like that. Everyone is different though so maybe just make sure he knows how it makes you feel. He also might have forgotten they were there.

Explain to him how you feel.. I would because I wouldn't like that the past is the past for a reason if he wanted those pics so bad he could have transferred them somewhere else but to have it on his phone & accessible at all times is a no like why? You've both clearly have moved on y'all are together & I believe that if you communicate with him he'll understand.

Was it in his phone or in google? My.google account has things from 7 years ago and when I restore it all goes back on to my phone.
