Whose child is fighting naps???

My daughter right now is fighting her sleep so much during the day and don’t even think about trying to put her down she wants held 24/7. she’s almost 8 weeks and is so cranky and fighting her sleep especially if someone else is holding her I’m exhausted and need a break!

My baby is 8 weeks on Wednesday and she will not take naps during the day unless she is in my carrier, the moment I take her out and try to lay her down she freaks out! Then she gets fussy because she is overly tired! Shes been taking so long to settle down at night to go to bed, you would think it would be quick and easy since she isn't sleeping much during the day. Definitely makes my days long and exhausting!😴

He fights sleep sometimes he’s a heavy sleeper at almost 6 weeks old I have a 3 year old who can be rowdy yelling playing and the baby won’t wake up but when you try being quiet and make the smallest sound he’s up or he’s stirring in his sleep.

Yes. My baby 8 weeks old has never really napped. He does maybe 3-4 45 min naps every day. Seems to be ok bc he sleeps good at night but we struggle with day naps. Also has to nap with me holding him, if I try to put him down he wakes up instantly.

Baby girl is probably going through a developmental leap. During those phases babies are often clingy and fussy. They are experiencing, developing and noticing all sorts of new things around them and about themselves which can be scary, so they cling to something that makes them feel safe and secure while going throu this new developmental leap (milestone). 
At least that’s what I’ve been told by the pediatrician and in all the baby books I’ve been reading. Lol 
It’s tiresome and frustrating but she’ll soon get past it... hopefully. Lol

Sameee! Right now, I think she’s hit a growth spurt because she wants to sleep all day. But usually, she fights it. She fought sleep at bedtime so bad last night that she wouldn’t sleep unless I was holding her. I caved and let her sleep next to me in bed. I was so tired and exhausted.

We do everything! Dark room, swaddle, white noise, and my little one is fighting his naps so bad this week. We’re 8 weeks, so maybe just the second leap?
