Problem?

Husband and I had sex at 7 weeks postpartum C-section and it was a little painful as expected. We tried it again at 10 weeks postpartum and it’s still painful. Is this normal or should I go to my obgyn  because it’s not normal?

After my first baby (forceps delivery and 4th degree tearing/episiotomy) I had so many stiches it wasn't even funny. I waited the six weeks and it was so hard i was too scared to try again. Waited another week or so and it wasnt any better but i just tried to get through it and after we did it a couple times it got much better. Not the same as a c section but i say it its not getting better after a couple times something probably isnt right

Ten weeks is still pretty soon so it’s normal to be uncomfortable during. If it’s actual pain then talk to a doctor. Also try lube and going slow just because your body is t used to it anymore.

Uncomfortable is normal, painful isn’t. At least IMO. 
Have you tried a lubricant? Often hormones will cause an imbalance and can make things very uncomfortable. You can try that first then your doctor but honestly if you feel something “isn’t right” just go in for a checkup. 
With my first I had some pain that wouldn’t resolve. Turned out a few stitches didn’t heal well and the area was very sensitive and had to be repaired again. Not a big deal but I followed my gut and I’m glad I didn’t let it go.

My first couple times were uncomfortable. It goes easier. If it’s pain pain it wouldn’t hurt to reach out to your nurse/doctor just in case.
