Baby Food Maker 🍎🥕🥔

Kayy

Does anyone make their own baby food? If so, which processor are you all using? I’m currently looking at the Baby Brezza & the Baby Bullet. I’ve been reading the reviews & both have pros and cons.

Also, how do you all supplement it into your baby’s normal feeding schedule? TIA! 💕

I have been reading that people are doing that instead! I’m def not opposed to it. Which processor do you all have?

You'd be surprised how short of a time period babies eat pureed foods. I bought the brezza and really used it once. I started giving my daughter purees at 6 months and by 7 months she was pretty much eating what we were just chopped up really small. It was a total waste of money

I would, they really dont eat purees for very long

Thanks for your input, I will def consider that. I’ve been seeing where a lot of people just used regular blenders, etc...so I may just go that route so that I’m not wasting money!

Someone passed their babybrezza down to me and I have to say it’s a total waste of money (or at least it was for me). I just cook everything in my regular steamer/pot combo and purée it in our vitamix (all of which we had before baby) I’m giving the baby brezza to my SIL because I’ll never use it.

We have the vitamix but any blender/food processor would work. When I’m making small batches I use my old hand emulsion blender.

Ok thanks for the heads up! I’m def not opposed to that idea. What kind of processor do you all have?

I just steamed/boiled fruits and veggies and used an immersion blender, then froze them into ice cubes and kept them in freezer bags. It was so cheap and easy!

Yep! I labeled them with the date and what was in it, then just took out a couple at a time and zapped it in the microwave or let it thaw in a container. It was good because I didn’t feel like anything was wasted if I had to throw some away since it was so cheap to make

Did you have to label them or anything to keep up with the dates? Thanks for the idea

I plan to use the cuisinart food processor I already own.

We used our instant pot and ninja blender. Worked great .

I will be making my own. I'll be steaming or boiling food then using my ninja food processor/blender system to puree. No need to buy special baby food makers. Just buy a regular blender or food processor.
