CMT (Charcot-Marie-Tooth)

I was wondering if anyone else has the genetic disease CMT, and how it effects your day to day life. CMT is a genetic disease that causes muscle deterioration, difficulty walking and reduced sensation of touch. Mine primarily effects my legs, ankles and feet. I can't straighten my leg out all the way and more than an hour or two on my feet causes my legs to shake and excruciating pain. I would love to know if anyone else has this and what they do to help muscle strength!
