What can I give a 3 week old for gassyness?

My boy is exclusively breastfed. Some nights I can tell he’s uncomfortable trying to sleep. Constantly grunting and farting and fussing. Sometimes spitting up a little. He doesn’t seem sensitive to anything in particular that I eat. But some nights now and then are tough for him to sleep. I’ve heard of different kinds of gas drops or gripe water. What works for your babies?

If he’s exclusively breastfed I would give it a bit of time and try other solutions before giving him anything. Right now his little tummy is just perfect because he’s eating what’s perfectly made for him! I always think of adding to that perfect diet as a last resort. 🤞🏻 you find something that works!

Gripe water or Mylicon. I found for my girl that Mylicon would help for gas and gripe water helped if she needed help pooping. You could also do infant massage, knees to chest, and bicycle movements with their legs.

Pur lactation consultant recommended we keep her upright for at least 20 minutes after feeding her. Also make sure that baby isnt getting too hungry because that will cause more aggressive sucking and more air. 
Ours is the same though still in visible pain so we started colic calm tonight. It says multiple doses may be needed but I didnt want to do more than 1 right away. It certainly helped but wasnt perfect. I'd highly recommend that though as it doesnt have the bad things the others do. 
I also found that putting her on her stomach for 10 minutes helps her to fall asleep and get out gas and then I roll her over onto her back after.

Frequent burping defo help with gas, my little girl had a great latch but my letdown was very fast and she ended up taking in a lot of air while feeding. She would get very fussy the more I burped her every few mins when feeding the better she was.. you can try baby massage to and bicycle legs but for me the burping worked better.
