Need help with baby carrier situation

Erica

We have a 2 year old (he'll be almost 2.5 when twins are born) and twins on the way.

We did our research and there weren't a ton of car seats that could fit all three side by side in our back seat so we had to purchase 3 new carseats (even though my son's is a great carseat it just won't fit the other 2 next to it). This took a big unexpected chunk out of our budget.

We also purchased a large side by side stroller that can accommodate the twins and the toddler. It'll be great for lots of walking like the mall or the zoo, but quite cumbersome for some place like a doctors office.

You can't use infant carriers with the carseats we purchased but we have two infant carriers from when our toddler was little so I guess our plan is to put the twins in their carseats (which do come with special infant inserts) and take them out and strap them into infant carriers to take them on quick runs or to places like doctors offices - especially because it will usually be me by myself.

The problem is I have a bad back and don't think I can carry 2 infant carriers by myself (and I can't baby wear either I couldn't even handle that with my singleton). So... I was thinking of purchasing this Baby Trend Universal Double Snap-N-Go Stroller Frame - https://www.amazon.com/Baby-Trend-Universal-Snap-N-Go-Stroller/dp/B008U4MKU6/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Baby%2BTrend%2BSnap-N-Go%2BDouble&qid=1565577020&s=baby-products&sr=1-1&th=1

I'm just looking at all of this and wondering if I'm over complicating things. Does this sound like our best option or do you have a better suggestion? Please share your wise twin parent ways with me ha
