Christmas shopping for my son

So I know it’s super early but I need advice. My son will be about 6 months when Christmas comes around. I know he isn’t going to understand Christmas at this age but of course I still want to get him things but what should I get him? This is my first child so I have no idea.

On the plus this is my first Christmas in my very first apartment with my first child ❤️ I am so excited.
