Mine didnt really hurt. I just told the dr I didn't want to see it before they did it. It was just an odd feeling. Like something squirming up the inside of your spine. I was more focused on the contraction pain so it was really nothing in my opinion. And I had it put in twice.
Pros- Like instant relief
Cons- Mine wore off SUPER fast and I had to have another put in, which did the same thing. And I got back pain I've never had before for a couple months after.

It wasn’t painful but I did have a really bad panic attack from not being able to move. 😬 not sure if I’ll get one or not this time.

It didnt really hurt i felt a small pinch but nothing bad it made me flinch but more in a reaction way vs pain

Didn't hurt at all for me. But also didnt work on my left hip and lower back. I will probably try again this time if I have back labor again. Otherwise, I'll see how far I can go without.

It wasn’t painful. A little pinch and done. 
Pro for me was that I didn’t feel anything throughout the rest of my labor and pushing. 
Major con (and the reason I’m not getting it again this time), it took way too long to wear off and I was still numb over 9hrs after having my baby.

Hurt pretty bad. Didn’t think it was going to hurt like that. But was totally worth it compared to the contractions I was having.
