Want to transition to breast milk to formula ?

Hey y’all I currently breastfeed and I kinda want to transition to having my 6 month old son to do formula but I want to give him something that is close to breastmilk. I’m also vegan so is there formula out there like that ? Not sure but if you let please

I'm still EBF but the women that do supplement in some of the breastfeeding groups I'm in use HIPP and/or Holle brand formulas which are made in Germany (much stricter guidelines for food & formula in Europe). I don't think they have vegan formula and like the previous post, I've never seen a vegan formula.

Unfortunately vegan formula doesn't exist in the US or Canada due to the vitamins it is fortified with. The closest would be soy based but it is not vegan.

Hey there! I just started supplementing bc I'm having a hard time keeping up with my girls ounces at daycare! I wanted to be sure that she would drink some formula just in case i dried up or something! We currently mix 1 oz of formula into 4 oz of breastmilk for her daycare bottles. I had a really hard time finding a formula I was comfortable with and ended up finding one called baby's only. It's got great ingredients and is organic. It's labeled "toddler" but i asked my pediatrician if it was ok to use and she agreed it was a great choice. I think they have a soy version but I don't know much about what works as a vegan option :) just thought I'd share!!
