When did you start/ing your nursery?

19w1d,  4th month. Im starting mine in 2 weeks from today. I found out the gender in my 13th week, but have my next ultrasound next week and buying the crib the week after. Just curious when everyone else started.

I bought my crib early at 14-15 weeks because I got a great deal. I am buying things as I see them on sale - it helps break up the big purchases! 
I’m 18 weeks now and we just cleared out the guest room to make way for the nursery. We put the crib and glider in there for now, but we still need to paint, build shelving in the closet, etc.  I am a visual person so it was easier for me to empty the room & add the baby stuff we do have so that I can really see what kind of space I’m working with and plan it out. Im able to take accurate measurements which is helpful as I’m shopping for a dresser, bookshelf, and toy baskets - I know exactly where they will fit and the dimensions that I need! 
I’d rather do this now while I’m feeling good than when I’m super pregnant and ready to pop! It’s been exciting and a lot of fun!

I'm 18.5 weeks, and we are actually almost done with the nursery! We decided not to paint, so its really just a matter of putting the crib together and rearranging the furniture until we are happy. We still need a bouncer, clothes size 3 month and up, and a few other odds and ends, but we are pretty much done otherwise😊

We bought the crib, dresser, change table, and reclining glider chair this past weekend - and ordered the crib set today off wayfair today! My mother in law asked "why so early?" My reply: "1) cause we have the money right now to buy all the big stuff - the closer it gets to xmas, our money gets tied up, 2) I have the energy to shop, whereas I HATE shopping and dont want to do it while 7 or 8 months preg (or later), 3) the longer we wait, the closer it gets to xmas and stores get busy and roads are crap in winter 4) I'm a planner and impatient and just want to cross shit off my list!" 
We arent setting up the actual nursery for a while yet (have to purge house and move step-daughter into a new room) But most everything nursery related is in boxes in the basement. Feels damn good to have most of it done!

Not doing one. We didn’t even use my daughters nursery until she was over 1 as she slept in our room. Right now our third bedroom is a playroom and we don’t have anywhere to move all the toys so baby 2 doesn’t get a room lol. We’ll move eventually

I’m 18 weeks, currently painting 😋 The crib is sitting in there already with a bunch of baby stuff (that was my daughters) piled inside. 🙂

We’re playing musical chairs with our rooms so it’ll be a while. We have to:
-redo spare room for us
-redo our room for SD8
-redo SD8’s room for SS5
-redo SS5’s room for baby
It’s mostly just a lot of painting.

I don’t really have any plans for baby’s room. I have started to move stuff from the spare room (baby’s room) closet to go elsewhere and I have a bookshelf in there, which the stuff will go into boxes to be setup once the basement is finished. My friend said she would give me a crib in January. In the meantime baby will sleep in a bassinet in our room. I will move a lay z boy into the bedroom and make a changing station on our dresser. Hubby will have a few weeks off in March, so I will worry about actually setting up baby’s room once he arrives. It’s more important for my mom to have a place to sleep (spare room) to help care for LO once he’s here.

I want to start now at 17 weeks, but we are building a new house and will be moving in December, so all baby items are staying in their boxes 😭
