are these safe for babies? I bought one today from a baby resale store for 5 bucks and was thrilled about my purchase but someone said babies shouldn’t sleep on their side is this bad?

Nothing in addition to a crib or bassinet is found safe anymore

Nope. Flat firm surface on their backs. Nothing in the crib/bassinet but the baby.

Hospital will tell you before you leave that nothing is safe in crib including bumpers. They suggest no bumpers; no stuff animals.. nothing.

They also want baby to sleep right on their backs

Back to sleep is the safest way for a baby to sleep. So me personality wouldn’t use this.

Babies should always be put into their backs to sleep. If they roll over onto their side by themselves it's fine, but they shouldn't be placed on their sides.

No.. babies shouldn’t be put in positions to sleep they should sleep in the positions they go to themselves. Anything else puts them at risk for sids

My daughter sleeps on her side, she’s much more comfortable. The only problem is her head getting flat. If she’s on her back she rolls to the side anyway. She’s 1 month so flipping her back and forth so she’s flat wakes her up all the time.

That doesn't look like it would be very comfortable.
