So I’m very early in my pregnant. Just found out on Friday. I am 3w5d. This will be my third child. My question is has anyone had experience with risk of an ectopic pregnancy? I had asked for bloodwork for confirmation on Saturday through the online system and received a call from the nurse this morning. She asked me routine questions. But I have been having justified to the left side cramping and pain which is mild and dull. They had me come in for an ultrasound and blood work. I met with the physician and she said as of right now that she didn’t see proof of an ectopic but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t develop. She said I have to come in and have a blood panel done until my levels are at a certain point then they will do another ultrasound to make sure baby is in the uterus. Has anyone had any history of this or any advice? I’m a little nervous but I’m not overly worried. Thank you! Just looking for some experience.
