With my 1st pregnancy my daughter was supposed to be over 8lbs she was 7lbs 12oz

My doctors wouldn’t even do them because they said they’re not accurate. That said, my sister-in-law had one done the morning before she had her son and they told her he was 8lbs 8oz. Later that day she went into labor and delivered a 10lb 10oz baby boy. 😬

The day we began my induction they estimated baby to be 5lbs, 5oz. She was born 4 lbs 13 oz.

At 37+4 they said he weighed about 7 lb 6 oz. He was born at 38+6 and weighed 8 lb 1 oz. So I’d say, once you factor in how much weight babies put on in a week at the end, they were pretty close!

My first pregnancy the day I went in to deliver they measured my daughter at 6lbs exactly and she came out the next morning at 7lbs3oz.
With my son the tech said between 8.10-9lbs but said because he was so low she couldn’t get a measurement correctly. He came out 8lbs15oz.
So one way off and one pretty spot on.

Mine claimed my daughter would be 6lbs 4oz she came
Out 7lbs 13 oz. she was actually too big for my frame and ended up getting stuck on her way out. They just didn’t know she was going to be so big.

Mine was accurate at around 7.5 lbs. however, my sisters are always told the baby will likely be around 8 pounds, and they have 5 pound babies.
