It depends on how much he is used to eating. At 10 months a lot of babies are on 8-10 ounces anyways. He very well could have just been hungry, which is fine lol but if he only drinks like 8 ounce bottles it might make him a little sick but he will be okay

Its fine. They go through growth spurts and can want more than normal sometimes.

i feel like that’s quite a lot but i’m sure he’ll be fine and worse thing to happen is he’ll probably just be sick. My son has drank a bit more than normal before and he just vomited

My 16 month old never drinks that much. 
He may puke some of it back up, or get an upset tummy, but it wouldn’t be too bad.
In general though I would try to not give him that much in one go again, though it’s tough when they aren’t settling.
