No period unless I take provera

We’ve only been on the TTC journey a few months but ever since I stopped birth control I only get my period after taking Provera.

Also taking Metformin to help with insulin resistance due to PCOS.

Looking for input on whether or not to try the whole year before asking for Clomid, is that even a good idea at all?

My guess is I’m just not ovulating so all the waiting and BD in the world wouldn’t really make a difference...
