Fetal echogenic bowel?

I had my anatomy ultrasound on Friday and they found that she has fetal echogenic bowel. My OB seemed SUPER calm and collected about the whole thing - because I had already done the NIPT testing, she ruled out cystic fibrosis and down syndrome which I guess that condition could indicate.

More than likely, she thinks that baby just swallowed a little bit of blood and everything is fine. She was very adamant that I shouldn't freak out over this, and I was doing really good with just being excited about the pictures and our otherwise 'all clear' report. I didn't start googling, because she seemed so blasé about the whole thing and I was good about not overthinking

Of course today, I decided to start earning my Google MD and have overthought myself into a hole. I need to wait for a referral to get another ultrasound at the hospital (she said the condition would likely clear up by the time we were scheduled). I should get a call to schedule “some time this week” 😔

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with that showing up on a scan?
