Can feel baby’s head

My midwife did a cervical exam since I’ve been having so much pain and pressure and she said I’m not dilated but she felt my babies head. I have an ultrasound in two days to see her growth and if my cervix is funneling. Has this happened to anyone and delivered early? I’m 30 weeks and hoping she won’t stay in past 38/39 weeks I’m so over all this pain and discomfort! Had my son at 39 weeks. Does it mean she’s engaged?
