So I had twins 11 days ago. They sleep all the time and I know newborns are suppose to sleep a lot, but people keep telling me they will wake up when they are hungry. But my babies will literally sleep all day and not wake up to eat. I have to wake them and it’s a struggle to even get them awake to eat. They are only wanting to eat 1 oz or an 1 1/2 oz every four hours. If they take 2 oz they usually puke most of it back up. We told our ped about it at one week check up and she said stimulate them more which we do and she doesn’t seem concerned but told us they need to eat to gain weight since they lost since birth. we have another appt today because I feel like there is something going on or maybe I’m just overly worried. When I had my daughter 6 years ago she never had any problems waking up to eat or eating in general.
