Any teachers due in Oct?

Teacher here! 
High school ELA. We go back Wed the 28th. I'm *hoping* to work until my due date (Oct 27). I am planning to take the rest of the school year off to enjoy my little guy. My principal is struggling to find a long term sub for me because our school system is very rural. I'm also struggling to find the motivation to do some prep work knowing I won't be there long 😅
Any other teachers? What's your due due date? Are you working til you deliver? How long for maternity leave?

Elementary Learning Support teacher. I’m due Oct 15 and Friday, Oct 11 will be my last day. I’ll be coming back towards the end of January. We go back tomorrow and I’M. NOT. READY!!

I’m a teacher. I teach 7 year olds. Our term finishes 27th September and my due date is 10th October. I’m taking a year off. I’m really struggling to stay motivated. I’m not sure how I’m going to make it through the next 6 and a half weeks as I’m exhausted!

High school social studies here! Working up until I go to the hospital (due Oct 22nd) and as much as I reaaaallllly want to stay out until after winter break, my 6 paid weeks of leave will be up Dec 3rd and I don't know if we can afford to lose my salary for 3 weeks. 😔

7th grade ELA here! We know we’re moving next summer, so I actually just didn’t go back for this year. I’m due October 2nd and if I had left mid or late September, I felt like it would be a mess to deal with for me, the students, my sub, and my team.

Preschool teacher here. I work in a public school. Due date is October 29th and I'll be going on leave starting the 28th assuming baby doesn't arrive early and everything is good. I'm staying home with my babe until Christmas break is over. So I will be going back beginning of January. However, the daycare baby is going to is literally 5 steps across the hall from my preschool classroom, so it will make it a little easier to go back to work in January knowing my baby will be right across the hall.

I’m a high school art teacher in New Zealand teaching 12-18 y/o students. My bub is due 11 October. I was planning on going on maternity leave on the 27 Aug, but I’ve been on leave since the 26 of July because of a stroke-scare 😳 the government pays you paid parental leave from 6 weeks before your due date and I’ll get payments for 22 weeks. I also get a maternity grant from my teaching contract through the government which pays a percentage of my yearly salary once the baby is born. I hope to stay at home with the baby as long as possible, but we’ll see if we can afford it 😭

Yes! Middle school ELA and due October 20th. I’m taking off four months, though HR really encourages taking off the rest of the yr. I also have zero motivation to prep, but all of my lessons and assessments are on my Google Drive so I’m planning to share that with whomever they find for me.

I teach TK/K Sped. Plan on working until due date and coming back after MLK day. I know I'm prob not getting s long term sub because it's already hard to find a sub that wants to do SPED anyways. But my aides are great so I'm hoping to get my schedule and expectations/consistently down by the time I leave as well as lessons plans for the whole time I'm off
