I was super excited this week for, what I thought was, my first prenatal appointment. I had already waited a number of weeks to get to this appointment. I had figured and hoped an ultrasound would happen.

This appointment was pretty much a risk assessment appointment. They go over my health, hubbys health, family history, blood work, etc. then they schedule you for an ultrasound. This office doesn’t do ultrasounds until closer to the 10th week or so.

I’m scheduled for August 27th, which is 2 weeks away. I just want to know everything is alright. My doctor said she expects a healthy pregnancy and didn’t see anything that concerned her, which made me feel better, but I’m still disappointed I didn’t get to see the little one. These next 2 weeks are going to go SOOO SLOWLY!
