TMI!! Normal after cervix check?!?

Getting gushes of fluid during contractions with this ending up on my pad after a cervix check 3 hours ago. Normal?
UPDATE: It was my water breaking, but my baby had passed meconium in the womb so it wasn't normal but everything turned out okay.

My water broke with my first pregnancy and it was 100% my waters but I still tested “negative” for amniotic fluid... had my little girl a little later that night 🙄

Gushes of fluid would be your water breaking. You’re fine to labour at home as long as contractions are consistent and getting stronger. If not call your L&D department.
