Possible 8 week ultrasound, does this sac look empty?

I went to a place in my community that does free ultrasounds. The equipment is older (all voluntary work). The rn told me I could be earlier in the pregnancy than expected, she told me to follow up with an OB with better equipment. She thought she saw something to the left of the sac. (I am getting another ultrasound in a week)

I had a similar experience last week. I also went to a free clinic and got my first ultrasound that only measured 6w3d when I knew for sure I had to be at least 7 and a half weeks because I tracked ovulation.
Due to previous miscarriages I set up an ultrasound with and actual OBGYN two days after initial scan. Baby measured right on track at 8 weeks that time.
The equipment definitely made a difference. Try not to worry, mama and good luck!

Just an update. I went to the er. Got a ultrasound done by a tech and boom baby was there! Yall equipment and the techs really matter!

Equipment absolutely makes a difference. Also, it sounds weird but the angle the ultrasound tech holds the wand matters too. Today i got an ultrasound and was watching it on the big screen. She found a good picture of the baby, barely even moved the wand a centimeter and the baby disappeared inside the sac. Then the tech barely put a little more pressure with the wand and the baby popped back up on the screen. If the equipment isn’t good, it won’t pick up those slight movements and pictures as easily.
