Should a man have to help with the kids / house when he gets home from work if his wife is a stay at home mom?

A long day at work is a long day at work.  Stay at home parenting is work. Parenting should be split according to how much of it each partner can handle
 The stay at home parent essentially has an 18 hour work day if they don't get evening help

I think it depends. How much housework is left after the day? Helping cook dinner and clean up is sufficient in my eyes. Maybe folding some laundry while watching TV together? You find what works for everyone

I stay at home and my husband works, during the week i take care of most things. Ill have him change a diaper if im busy or take out the garbage but otherwise i do everything. On the weekends we split certain tasks and ill ask for help with things. Its all about team work!

YES!!! As a man, I played an equal role in bringing that child into the world and therefore I share an equal role in helping raise him/her. No man should be afraid to clean dishes, toilets, laundry, etc my wife appreciates the fact that I teach year round and still does those things on a regular basis with a 6 month who is crawling, sitting up, and standing on anything he can pull up on.

If she/he a stay home mom or dad, it should 80/20. If he/she works long hours you can expect them to do as much house works as the stay home person. Just saying!

it depends. if he doesn’t do anything as such as house work when he’s rested enough from work, then yes. if you guys are married then you guys should take care of things together.. i’ve got 3 step children and i’ve got 3 boys and i’m pregnant with my fourth ( don’t know the sex yet ) but i clean cook and take care of the kids all day and then get them to and from school and that’s not hard work it’s just sometimes tiring but i am pregnant so lol but you guys should come to an agreement if no agreement is made either leave if you’re not happy, hire a cleaning lady or get marital counseling 🤷🏼‍♀️
