So I've been wanting my favorite sushi since the bfp but "we can't have sushi." Wrong! We can if it's cooked or frozen 48 hours prior to use. Luckily, my favorite is a tempura roll. When I found this out my husband told me I could get it for lunch the next day because we had already eaten dinner. So, I order it off DoorDash and they called me back saying that they don't have the materials to make it and so I can't order it. I canceled the order and almost cry. I told my husband while he was at work and he said that it's okay we can order it for dinner, maybe the sushi chef is just not there at lunch time. So I get home and get excited that I should be able to have my sushi finally after 10 weeks. We call an order and they say the sushi chef doesn't work on Mondays. If they had mentioned that earlier I wouldn't have gotten my hopes up! I pitched a fit to him so loudly they could hear me over the phone, of course. He paused and politely told the lady the other side of the phone we were just going to order from somewhere else. I realize it was irrational but I really wanted my sushi. I ended up ordering sushi at another restaurant that didn't have anything relatively close to my favorite but it was good. I'll still have to wait a while before I get my favorite sushi... It's pretty expensive. Has anyone else had their first pregnancy fit yet?
