Question about newborns with In laws

So we are living with in-laws until our place is ready... is it rude for me to set the rule that no one come knocking on our door to bother me about seeing baby? I want to come home from hospital and relax I don’t want to worry about in laws knocking and bothering my sleeping baby or me while I rest, I was thinking of nicely asking everyone to avoid coming to our room unless it’s very important. If they see me out and about around the house fine but I know me and baby will be in the room almost 99% of the time resting/recovering and catching up on much needed sleep.
