Pay for IUI?

Background. My husband and I tried to get pregnant for 1.5 years and were told we would need IUI maybe IVF because my husband has a very low count. We make our appt with fertility and then magically got pregnant that same month. Trying for #2 it’s been only 6 months but we decided to ask fertility specialist their opinion. They said our chances of conceiving on our own are only 5%. Here’s the question. Do we keep trying on your own or do we pull the trigger on IUI (our insurance covers nothing) that way our kids can be closer in age? He’s also military so possible deployments are forever looming, which puts a big wrench in family planning. Anyone have a similar situation? Opinions?
