I’ve been working at my job for a year and a half now as an admin assistant. I loved it when I first started. I actually looked forward to coming to work and whatever. There’s 12-14 staff in the office. I’m Native American working for a native corporation as you would say. I’m the ONLY Native American working in the office and everyone else is white, or they are foreigners. Anyways, last few months it’s been hard for me. I literally come to work, do my job and get paid. I’m not into the whole work gossiping, work politics. Etc. Manager and everyone else here are like friends , which is good. Nothing wrong with that. But I feel like I don’t have the support here. Some told me I’m playing the “race card” which I’m not. But I really get treated differently here. I almost feel like a slave here. In a weird way.

I don’t want any negative comments, I just wanna know if you’ve been in this situation before?
