Low BP??

Anyone else dealing with this?? I almost passed out today... my doctor said low bp isn’t anything to worry about...

My lowest was 90 40 and theres no problem with it. Just the symptoms is what you need to be concerned with. Like dizzy spells and passing out. My family tells me to eat more salt. 
You can look it up I'm not sure how true it is about the salt lol but I guess ig makes sence if you have high BP you avoid salt

This is a normal range for me. I would ask the doctor if this is not your norm, but low bp can be very common during pregnancy.

Mine went from the 140/90's in the first trimester to normal and now im dealing with 70/60's constantly! Its so scary when you feel like you're going to pass out while sitting down. My doctor told me to eat something every 2 hours at least.

Is this a home cuff?  If so, make sure the cuff fits appropriately too (there should be lines on the side that tell you how to fit it).  If you have a tiny arm (like I do) and the cuff is too big, it will read lower values.

Yes me! I always have low blood pressure though and my doctor never seems to be concerned. I always make sure I eat before I work out, go out in the heat or have a hot shower or else I get dizzy and faint. I also keep electrolyte packages in my purse and when I feel my blood pressure getting low I add it to my water bottle. It usually helps!

My bp normally runs on the lower side 100/65. Around 18 weeks it dropped to 90/57 and I was having symptoms of light headedness and dizziness upon standing. My heart rate was 90 while sitting (usually 65 or 70). My doctor told me it was normal for bp to drop during pregnancy because your blood vessels dilate. My heart rate increased to compensate for the decrease in pressure. Eventually your blood volume increases which should raise your bp. I just stayed hydrated and was careful not to get up too fast. BP is back to my normal at 23 weeks and no more symptoms. Definitely check with your doctor if you are concerned.

Ummm that low is definitely something to worry about. I would get a second opinion or go to the ER

Yep! Mine is 90/56. I’ve always had low blood pressure, no idea why 🤷🏻‍♀️ my doctor hasn’t ever said anything about it.
