Birth Story!

So we went into the hospital on July 21 because I was having a lot of bleeding and I was suppose to be induced on the 22nd. So we go in they check me out, I’m like 2cm dialated but since I was bleeding they wanted to make sure me and baby were okay. So we were admitted and they started the induction with a IV. My water broke at 2am I take some drugs which freaked me out and I was in a lot of pain. So I asked for an epidural, like 2 hours later early on the 22nd. Labored all day with very little progress. Finally at 2pm I was at 9cm so they said we had to start pushing. Beaux pooped in the womb so they had to get the NICU nurses just in case. Anyways I start pushing at 3pm and barely any progress so I’m exhausted (I haven’t had any water or food for 24 hours) and I was pushing every 5 minutes for like 30-60 seconds. It was the craziest workout ever. so 6pm rolls around and I told my labor nurse I couldn’t do it, Beaux was getting stuck in my pelvis. So she said we can do the vacuum or c section. At this point I’m in so much pain and have been pushing for 3 fuckin hours! I felt a contraction and told my nurse let’s try pushing one more time and then I’ll make a decision, I was pissed at this point. 😂So I pushed and boom! He was ready to go. So they called me doctor who was 20 mins away. They had me lightly push until she got there and I did 3 more pushes and then he was here at 6:37p

Ha I was in such shock and was so hungry, I can’t even believe that happened. Now we are 3 weeks 2 days and we are happy and healthy! Having a newborn was scary but now I can’t imagine life without him
