Period or Implantation

So I’m yesterday I guess I started I felt like how my body always feels when I’m about to start and I felt this liquid come out I checked and it was like a dark brown color but it was more than a dot and it stayed like that later on I took a shower and put on a liner to see what would happen and checked still and it was light brown now it’s morning nothing what does that mean? I’m cramping having back pains etc which is normal
