Does anyone know the reason why you can't get an ultrasound the same day as your Makena/p17 shot?

I was just wondering if anyone knew why. The other week I had an ultrasound scheduled the same day as my Makena shot but they scheduled it for a different day because they said you can't get an ultrasound the same time as the Makena/p17 shot?

I get Makena injections weekly and always get my ultrasounds on the same day.

You totally can. I did it just this week. I’m not sure why your office wouldn’t. Although sitting for the ultrasound after the injection was uncomfortable. Next week I have the ultrasound first to avoid the discomfort
