I went for a 20 week anatomy scan 3 weeks ago, pregnant with twin girls! One of my girls was much smaller than her sister, looked to have clubbed feet and a mm wide opening in her heart. The perinatal specialist stated he was concerned and asked that my husband and i talk about an amniocentesis and genetic testing. We talked, decided to wait until after our repeat scan today.

We went this morning, there was no heartbeat for my sweetie girl. We were heartbroken and devastated. These twins were not expected, my husband had a vasectomy last year and never went back and got checked. We truly believe these were definitely a blessing from God and would just fit right in with our 3 other daughters. If you’re the praying kind, say a prayer for us and our daughters as well as our remaining twin.
