Starting my journey

Princess

Hello everyone!

I am 42 and starting our

IVF

journey with donor eggs!! We have named them Aurora. A beautiful soul out there blessed us with a cohort of 7 eggs and we plan to fertilize all of them, implant 2, and freeze the rest.

Our decision came after 7 miscarriages. My AMH is .87 and FSH 12.1. I dream about being a mother again, (I have a 21 year old from previous marriage). Using an anonymous donor is a beautiful gift I am so grateful for. That’s why we gave her a name, because she is more special to us then a number. The people at Fairfax have been amazing. The team at the Reproductive Center are awesome as well. ( we are in CA).

Anyone on the same journey? I would love to buddy up and share. I will also answer any questions if you are considering this route. I am all about Women supporting women.

Status: Day 2 of my 2 weeks of birth control. Aurora is arriving August 27th for thawing process. ❤️

8/31 Update: had endoscratch last week, cleared yesterday to start meds Monday 9/2. Return 9/11 to check lining. Predicted transfer date 9/18 ❤️

9/11 lining was 9.1! I am on schedule!

9/13 6 out of our 7 eggs survived the thaw. ICSI was performed and we should know tomorrow how many fertilized. Started antibiotic and progesterone shot. (Not as bad as I thought it would be)

9/16 UPDATE: 5 out of our 6 eggs fertilized!!! Now we are waiting to see how they progress up to day 5. So excited!

9/17 Update: 4 of our embryos are developing well! Tomorrow morning is our transfer!

I feel NERVOUS! Some stress and anxiety kicking in... I surrendered the outcome to the universe, yet some doubts are trying to creeping in. However, This is going to happen, I can feel it! ❤️

9/18 Transfer day!!!! Everything went great! We actually had 6 make it to day 5!! Wow!!! Dr’s were so surprised at the report! We are so happy!! We transferred 2 ❤️❤️

Feeling WONDERFUL!! We go in on 9/27 for pregnancy test! ❤️🤞🏼❤️🤞🏼

9/21 4DPT Well folks, not sure how o should feel since this is my first

IVF

cycle, but I have been having cramping/lower belly aches since transfer.

9/27 blood test today came back POSITIVE AND HCG IS 237!!!! WE ARE OVER THE MOON EXCITED!!

9/30 Our Second HCG is 650! So we more then doubled 💜💙 I have an ultra sound in 2 weeks!! So grateful and feeling blessed!

10/6 UPDATE:I spent the day in the ER because I am bleeding again. Good news is, my HCG is 9577 and they were able to see a sac, so there is growth and development BUT I have a subchorionic hematoma. This is common with IVF pregnancy and is causing the bleeding. I am going to follow up with my Dr tomorrow but I am on bed rest until further notice.

Make it a great day, and TRUST IN THE UNIVERSE. #manifest #meditation #accupuncture #
