Discouraged

A little discouraged because when I got checked a few weeks ago, I was told I’m about a 2 and 50-60% effaced. Went to my appointment today and she said I’m completely closed, but extremely soft. Still a 50-60% effaced. She thinks that because how soft I am, it confused some of the nurses to think that I’m dilated. My midwife today had to really reach up there to find the cervix and she said it’s definitely closed.

I know labor can happen spontaneously but just thought the sweep would put me in labor this weekend😔
