What does your newborn sleep in for bed?

So I’ve already got a ton of blankets, but I’m literally terrified of the baby suffocating while I’m sleeping. (I know it’s silly, baby’s have slept with blankets for years, but I can’t help but worry) I’ve been looking at those “gro bag” baby sleeping bag things with the poppers at the top. What are people’s thoughts? Worried the baby’s arms will get cold 🤷🏼‍♀️

Babies are not suppose to sleep in blankets unless used to swaddle. Babies have slept in them for year and have suffocated for years. 
You can buy zip up or Velcro swaddles. Halo makes some.

No blankets for my babies until they reach around one year old. I use a swaddle when they’re newborns and a sleep sack when they’re able to roll and no longer can be swaddled.

No blankets in cribs until one. My little one always slept in a warm sleeper or long sleeve with one of the fleece sacks or swaddled when she was real little!

I just put my baby in a onesie or nothing and swaddle with a swaddle blanket.

It's what's recommend here, and the infant mortality rate here is way lower than in the US.

I’m not doing any blankets or pillows for a long while . She’ll start out being swaddled unless it just doesn’t work for us , then I’ll have her in the sleeping bags and if it’s cold I’ll just put a long sleeve onesie underneath

Sleeper pajamas or a swaddle only! The sleeper pajamas you can get thick or thin ones based off how cool you keep your house and same with a swaddle they come with thin ones or thick
