Antihistamines and breastfeeding

I picked up my Zyrtec prescription yesterday, and noticed for the first time that it says “not recommended during breastfeeding.”

I’m assuming it’s because it’ll dry up my supply.

I take it every day, and worse, my allergies are out of control while pregnant so I’m not sure how I’m going to wean off it while pregnant. Last time I tried to go off it, I had withdrawal effects of horrible all over itching. I will though if it will help with breastfeeding.

How do you manage your allergies while breastfeeding? I have indoor, outdoor, and skin allergies so I’m basically a mess all the time 😫
