My son is 3 weeks 2 days old, he was circumcised Tuesday last week and everything went well, it was cut not done with a bell. Friday I took him in as his penis was swelling and apparently we weren't pushing the skin back properly. Since then we have been doing it right. Yesterday I noticed his head was a little blue but wasnt changing and my friend said her son did the same while healing. Tonight it looks a little more blue but it's not dark. Just wondering if this is normal for healing. The pamphlet said to look out for the head turning black or blue. And my family dr said everything looks like it is healing well when he saw my son the day before I noticed the blue colouration. Part of me feels like I should get him checked but my dr said he's healing well and my son isn't phased just fussy as he is more alert and tries to fight afternoon naps only. My mom and fiance think he is fine but just wondering if anyone else's child experienced this.
