Nexplanon?

Question

Is it true that women under 150 lbs have the most problems with the nexplanon? (As in, spotting, bleeding for months, moodiness, etc.) I really want to get the implant but I’m 100 lbs, very petite, and I’m scared I’ll have horrible side effects. If you’re on the smaller size and have had the nexplanon how did it go for you? What did you experience? And would you recommend it?

When I got it I was 5’8” and 160 lbs and I had almost every negative side effect. I bled for 8 months straight, was constantly moody, got headaches, etc but my friend who was 5’10” and 130 lbs had no side effects. It’s not really about your weight it’s about how your body reacts to the hormones in the nexplanon.

I was 130 and 5'6". I had the Nexplanon for about a year before having it removed and conceiving the following month. 
I had no issues with my period and they came every month, but a lot lighter and less painful than prior to getting it implanted. 
My skin looked great and I didn't gain any weight while on it. 
I've gone though Most other forms of birth control and after trying this one, it's the only one I'll do again in all honesty because it's the only one that Didn't give me terrible side effects or drop my sex drive like the others did. 
The only side effect that I still can't decide if it was in fact because of the Nexplanon was that I found I was a bit angrier at situations I don't think I normally would have been. 
However, I was also a new mom. So, I could never tell how much was due to the change in hormones from birth, lack of sleep, or any other baby related exhaustion lol

I don't know about the weight thing but I'm under the weight and I've had a period for about 2 months now and it's still going on with the nexplanon

I had it as a teen and was about your weight back then, I didn’t really have any side effects besides irregular periods ( they where months apart so not such a bad side effect). You can always get it removed if you don’t like it. I’m pregnant with my 3rd and last baby and will be getting it again after birth
