I’m flying to Georgia to see my bf in basic. My parents don’t know, but I do plan on telling them once I’m there just to be on the safer side. I’m torn between going and not going and here’s why:

He doesn’t have anyone else to go see him and they’re having his ceremony (parents don’t have ID)

I haven’t seen my bf since May because of this

I leave to college the day right after, I kind of want to experience traveling and going somewhere new (getting out of my comfort zone)

My parents are throwing my younger brother late birthday party on Sunday

I know my mom will probably hate me because she told me No when I first mentioned it

I’ve never done anything this crazy because my mom is super controlling , to the point where she wants me to do who she wants me to

My bf’s mom wants me to go because she knows he has no one else able to go (besides friends but he didn’t ask them)

I want to travel a lot someday
