Confused about how FB works

Oh crap. I was selling some things on FB marketplace and cross posted it to a couple local pages.

Some of the things I was selling were baby gifts from people that I never used (my kid is two now).

Well, since no one we know lives anywhere near us, I thought I’d be safe with the local pages (they’re closed pages) and the marketplace - because who that I know would be looking to buy things close to me?

Well I was wrong apparently!! My relative (who lives states away) just “liked” my post about something I was selling! 😨

Does that mean everything I have ever sold has been plastered everywhere for everyone to see?? These gifts I received from people that I’m now selling?
