So my fiance has had an outbreak down there for a few months and is taking Valcyclovir. His doctor told him there is no herpes tests for males (which is inaccurate) but that I should get tested even though I have no symptoms. I did and this morning I got the call that I have HSV2. I'm just beside myself. It doesnt matter who gave it to who, but I just feel awful and disgusting and angry. I have to live with this for the rest of my life because someone didnt care enough to inform me before we were intimate. It's my fault. I had a baby in April (bia C-section) before any of this and I hope she doesnt have it. 😖
