Sex after childbirth

I gave birth naturally about 5-6 weeks ago and doctor said everything is good I did get stitches. I’ve stopped bleeding about 3 weeks after giving birth but still had discharge but the discharge has stopped and I wanna have sex. I was horny for sex for days after I just gave birth but obviously couldn’t 🙃 anyways does the vagina feel different after giving birth? Does it hurt ? Is it too soon?
