With my first child I got one rather small hemorrhoid. I gave birth to my second child 1 week ago, and after passing one rather painful poo a few days back, my hemorrhoid has become super sore and swollen up. So much so that even passing gas hurts.

What can I do to get the swelling to go back down?

Edit: after researching it seems most likely case is thrombosed hemorrhoids. Most likely outcome for that is having it cut off. 🤯
