New Birth Control Pills

I just started my second month on BC pills and I haven’t had my period yet (I was supposed to 5 days ago). The week before I had some spotting, but I suppose I’m wondering if I should be worried or call my doctor soon because I’ve had sex without condoms the whole time. Am I one of the lucky ones whose period disappears? How normal is it to not get a period after a month of starting BC pills?
