I am pregnant and I think the father of my child gave me a fake name because I cannot find any information on him and he claims he has no social media. If I need to file for child support support how would this work ? Can a private investigator find him or something ? Can I find him if I have his license plate number?

I think with a license plate number you can find out who the car is registered to? But I’m not sure.

If you know his license plate number, definitely get that because police can look up the plate and find out who it’s registered to unless he took someone else’s vehicle but if the person knows him, the police can also ask what the guys name is. There’s many ways around it to find out someone’s name.
The police can even track his phone to find out his name cause I highly doubt he would have a fake name linked to his phone unless it’s a burner phone but doubt that.
