Why so many (+) results at 8dpo?

Question

I’m 8dpo and took a pregnancy test today and it was negative.   
I was looking at these forums last night and so many people have gotten a positive at 8dpo.  
Just feeling discouraged, I guess.

I think honestly people are getting their ovulation day confused. So they may be later than they think. Because even opks are “ predictions”. And even when you ovulate the egg lives for like 12-48 hours. So there’s no exact way to know, unless your using sophisticated tools . We’re all just kinda making the best predictions using tools , but we’re not head on. So don’t get discouraged. I hear so many people who don’t get signs until there 14 dpo ! good luck ! baby dust to you !

I know how you feel seems crazy at 8 dpo but anything is possible 
Don't get discouraged I never got a faint vvvfl till 11-12dpo your out till af arrives 🙏positive thoughts ❤

Lol I’m 8dpo and I have a confirmed Ovulation with temping and opk (been doing this over a year) and today I THINK I have a squinter but it should be noted my last pregnancy I didn’t get jack until 14dpo. 
Every pregnancy is different and you shouldn’t feel discouraged! Wishing you all the best love!

The average  Woman has implantation on cycle day 9 and is positive 2 days after so likely many people are miscalculating or they are really rare.  That is why it's so common to see something on cycle day 11 or 12
