I am 28, currently a stay at home mom to a 15 month old and another baby on the way. My husband is in his first year of law school (was a teacher and went back to school to make more money).

Anyway, I am planning to either go to Nursing school while my husband is in law school, or go to Law school after he finishes. I think Law school would come more naturally to me, whereas I’ve always struggled with sciences. Also, the upside potential to make money in law is greater than in nursing.

Nursing, however, would be a much cheaper route for me as I already have a BA and would only have to do a 1 year accelerated BSN.

My questions for those of you in either field are

1. How happy are you in your career?

2. How are you able to balance work & family life when you have multiple children?

3. Are you happy with the money you’re making?
